MSP onboarding
Manage365 is application-only — we verify every applicant against Microsoft Partner Network before activation. This keeps the customer base to active Partners and rules out toy accounts.
1. Apply
Fill in the application form at app.manage365.com.au/apply. You'll need:
- Your business details (name, ABN for Australian MSPs)
- Microsoft Partner ID (MPN / Cloud Partner ID)
- Primary contact email — the person who approves invoices
- Rough tenant count you expect to onboard
2. Application review
We verify the Microsoft Partner ID via Partner Center API and spot-check the business details. Most applications clear within one business day. If anything doesn't line up we'll reach out to your contact email.
3. First sign-in
On approval you'll receive a one-time password via email. Sign in at app.manage365.com.au and you'll be prompted to:
- Change your password (required)
- Enrol a TOTP authenticator — Manage365 requires MFA for every MSP user. Pick your poison: Authenticator, 1Password, Yubikey with OTP app, whatever you like
4. Invite your team
Head to MSP users in the nav and invite your technicians. Role hierarchy is enforced — you can't invite someone higher than you. For most MSPs:
- Owner — the director. One person ideally.
- Admin — operations lead, handles billing.
- L3 technician — senior techs, can run standards + compliance, touch CA policies.
- L2 technician — service desk, password resets, user CRUD within assigned tenants.
- L1 technician — first-line, read-only + password resets.
5. Connect your first tenant
Now you're ready for GDAP setup — Microsoft's delegation mechanism that lets Manage365 make Graph calls into your customer's tenant. One-time flow per customer; auto-renewal after that.
